Performing Arts Fringe Venues & Web Sites (2008)

The following list contains those venues that are playing host to shows that are in the Theatre, Comedy, Dance & Physical Theatre, Music and Children Shows genres. It excludes those venues that are only hosting event(s) or exhibition(s). In general, the web sites of venues provide more information on the shows than the rather terse descriptions in the Fringe programme / web site. However, please note that the content of web sites for some of the small venues may in fact be limited to the primary purpose of the building, i.e. there may be no mention of the show(s).

The official Fringe website includes a “find a venue” facility which provides useful information – including a map, although it is a trifle clunky to use. The Fringe programme brochure, i.e. the printed version, also contains all the relevant data for each venue.
