The author wishes to thank Matthew Lloyd for his permission to reproduce the image of the Theatre Royal in Shakespeare Square. This image can also be found on Matthew ’s website – http://www.arthurlloyd.co.uk -which is dedicated to his great grandfather Arthur Lloyd, the celebrated actor, comedian, singer, songwriter and music hall performer (1839-1904).
