Refreshments

The emphasis here is simply on giving a range of sites that will provide a reasonable idea of the choice that is available.  However, I am not sure that I necessarily agree with some of the comments that I have seen. The Good Pub Guide, The Good Beer Guide, The Good Food Guide and Scotland The Best are preferred sources of reference.

Accommodation

Veronique Johnson is the daughter of Aurora and Jim Sibbet, the owners of Sibbet House, the B&B where we stayed for many happy years (see The Punter's Tale). She now runs the business, concentrating on apartments. See 26 Abercromby Place for details.

Penny Airey owns and runs the B&B at 38 Dublin Street. We have found her to be a gracious and excellent hostess.
